RUTHLESS Ryan Kelly is back headlining in his home city of Birmingham on BCB Promotions' “Afterburn” show at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport on Sunday, November 9, writes PAUL WEBB.
The 31-year-old pushed world-ranked Caoimhin Agyarko to the limit last time out, losing a razor-thin majority points decision. That result proved he belongs in a place right at the top end of the light-middleweight (11st) division.
More big opportunities await Kelly, but first he gets a chance to put a win on his record and enjoy top billing in the city he calls home.
Super-lightweight Dylan Norman makes his BCB Promotions debut on the bill. Already unbeaten in ten, the 25-year-old from Knowle is looking to end the year with a bang under new trainer John Costello.
Unbeaten duo Levi Vaughan and Warren Leybourne are also in action.
Birmingham’s Vaughan impressed on the Nathan Heaney Homecoming undercard in Stoke and will be searching for a first career stoppage and a fifth straight win.
Coventry's Leybourne got his professional career off to a knockout start in September, and he looks to go 2-0 in similar style.
Tickets are available now, priced at £45 for general admission and £80 for VIP, from the boxers directly or by emailing info@bcb-promotions.com.
